On byDo you keep in mind Kelly McCamey, our friend who decided to give standard dieting one last try before considering weight reduction surgery? I am happy to report Kelly is constantly on the do well with her weight loss and physical fitness even though life has thrown her a curve. Kelly explained, “Well, for me, since my weight loss, of over 70 pounds now, I’ve seen some serious changes in my own life. I am divorcing my husband of over 14 years now.
We have grown aside, and I chose that I did so not need to be sedentary, as he could be. I need to grow, and continue to just work at my weight reduction, not prevent it. He brings home the food, which I call the forbidden still. We’ve grown apart for just two years now. I am in the process and this is the most difficult time for me personally, as he could be fighting not to obtain it.
But it is much too late. Kelly’s tale isn’t unique, as we realize of many interactions that crumbling, partly credited to a transformed behavior such as weight and diet reduction. As we’ve talked before weight loss won’t fix a relationship that is already broken. But in the true spirit of resiliency Kelly is moving stronger than ever forward.

She said, “Despite the fact that my relationship is closing, I must move on and become happy still. I am in to the weight loss and spending so much time to access my goal. I’ve learned a lot of things, especially about myself. I understand I was hiding inside my own body for protection.
I didn’t want anything or anyone to bother me. I am so happy that I understand why I had been eating and what the outcome created. Kelly hasn’t gone it alone. She is a member of Jenny Craig and is not teaching others about weight loss. “I am dedicated and hopefully by July I’ll have reached my own goal of 100 pounds off. I will have 32 more to visit Then.
I am so pleased with Kelly on her behalf fortitude and perseverance. Weight reduction isn’t easy when things in life are perfect; it’s even harder when the wall space come crumbling down. Kelly, many thanks for sharing your story, for being a part of the LivingAfterWLS neighborhood and for being yourself. You are truly an inspiration!
As the bone deteriorates, it can create outgrowths called osteophytes. The degenerating cartilage leads to dysfunction of the joint, which can throw the body off balance and create additional issues down the line. The thinning of the cartilage is not a disease or illness. Sadly, it’s just part of getting older for both dogs and humans.
